Full Description

1954 Chevrolet Handyman wagon. A black plate California native. Probably the most original Handyman around!!! Original paint, with a lovely patina to it; If you look closely on the drivers side door, you can see a couple dull spots on the paint from where the drivers arm and hand were placed while cruising around town in this classic. One of many neat characteristics this station wagon has to offer. The body is straight, the doors and lines fit excellent, there’s no signs of any accidents nor any rust. Solid floors. The interior bench seats are in great condition, no rips or tears. The headliner is tight and in excellent condition. Gauges are all in place. The rear end offers a fold down tailgate along with a rear window that pops up and makes for a very spacious area for plenty of storage. Please note: the passenger rear window is cracked. The clutch was recently replaced, very smooth “three on the tree” transmission. Just had a light service done; dome interior lights work and horn. Brand new tires. Some of the new parts put on (belt, water pump, 6 volt battery, battery terminal, battery cable and headlamp). Running and driving; I drove this 10 miles and she runs great, but I would suggest a strong servicing before taking any long trips.
This is a low mileage car and it shows; this car has always been looked after and garage stored (since 1978!!!) . This is Museum quality!!! They don’t come anymore original than this one. A must for the car enthusiast!!!
